Manufacturer Approved Oils
When looking for a repairer to service your car, always ask what oils are being used within the estimate they have given. So why would you ask this? Well there are many oils out there on the open market, and a £3 per litre oil cannot be the same as a £15 per litre oil. All manufacturers choose their oils carefully and use the specification needed to make the car run correctly, not clog up with unwanted soot and ash and last the way they intended it to. These oils are also chosen for better fuel economy too. So if you have had a car serviced and the fuel economy drops, it may be due to inferior parts and oils.
Here at Lakeside Garage we are specialists in German cars and only used approved oils for Mercedes, BMW, Mini, VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda. For us these are made by Total and Mobil, both well know brands within the oil industry. We include these within our service prices, giving you the piece of mind that you are getting the correct service and value for money.
